Contains photographs of the following organizations and military units: 34th Infantry, 66th Infantry, 315th Infantry, 176th Coast Artillery; Lehigh University. General description of the collection: The J. Duncan Campbell photograph collection consists of photographs showing Lehigh University Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) cadets at summer training at Fort Meade, Maryland, 1939 and 1940, and regular Army units training during the Texas-Louisiana Maneuvers, 1941. Most of the photos show the officers wearing khaki uniforms with campaign hats. The enlisted men are wearing either khakis with campaign hats or denim fatigues and "Daisy Mae's". Training exercises include rifle range, mortar firing, close order drill, and battalion parades.
